Square flanges are manufactured to JIS B2291/ JIS F7806 specifications. Pipe-to-pipe and pipe-to-components connections are made with square flanges. They are formed by two materials: steel and stainless steel, and are commonly used in mechanical systems lines where fluids travel through. A square flange is a square-shaped flange used to join pipes or tubes to components such as valves, tees and elbows. In a hydraulic system, it connects JIS standard notional bore size pipes. You can ensure a continuous flow of liquids over stainless steel pipes or other hydraulic systems by employing square flanges. Square flanges are commonly seen in hydraulic oil or steam systems. Stainless Steel Square Flanges are the best alternative in many industries due to their high corrosion protection. Stainless Steel Square Flange can endure high pressures and temperatures while also lasting a long time. Therefore, corrosion induced by environmental changes, chemical interactions, and other reasons is solved with stainless steel square flanges.
Carbon steel is one of the most common forms of steel used in the manufacturing industry. Carbon steel flanges have increased hardness and strength, which shows up in the manufacturing process. Carbon steel flanges are also corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant, and long-lasting. ANSI B16.5 Square Flanges are not recommended for large diameter pipelines or circumstances requiring significant torque. Smaller diameter pipes can be used in conjunction with square flanges instead.
